25 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) TOWARDS GENDER EQUALITY Thaksin University is a contributor to society’s progress towards gender equality. University’s teaching and learning helps female and LGBT+ students to reduce gender equality gap in society. Besides, the university provides a Health Consultation Service Center for students in both campuses. It focuses on providing students suggestions and solutions on their mental and physical health problems. Nowadays, hate speech, sexual harassment, defamation, or cyberbullying can cause depression, especially for teenagers. Therefore, in the year 2022, the Health Consultation Service Center conducted many programs to take care of pregnant female students and LGBT+ students. Moreover, the Center assists students with family issues and other problems to let them continue their study.
