36 Thaksin University CLIMATE ACTION 13 Action on a Climate Change Thaksin University in collaboration with Koh Yor Subdistrict Administrative Organization, organized “Growing and Planting 1,500 Trees for Restoring Forest Ecosystems” on 12 August 2022 to act for a healthy planet at Koh Yor, Songkhla to create understanding and promote responsible utilization of natural resources. This is an annual activity and it also encourages community participation in solving air pollution problems. All students participated in tree planting activity to promote environmental awareness, as everyone knows that global warming is the phenomenon of a gradual increase in the temperature near the earth’s surface. There are several causes of global warming, which have negative effects on humans, plants and animals. Therefore, the tree planting activity is the activity that can cause carbon reduction.
