38 Thaksin University LIFE BELOW WATER 14 The Ban Mai Community in Tha Sao, Sathing Mo Subdistrict, Singha Nakhon District, Songkhla Province, is a hive of activity as ten organizations came together, mobilizing 300 residents to renovate fish habitat number 9. In addition to these efforts, a seminar was organized to share insights into resource conservation, focusing on the Songkhla Lake Coastal Community. The community also expressed its deep appreciation for His Majesty through a series of performances and songs performed by students from Thaksin University. The event culminates with the illumination of candles throughout the area where Fish Habitat No. 9, Songkhla Lake, is located. Thaksin University took the lead in chairing the opening ceremony of the “Knowledge Transfer and Restoration of Fish Habitat No. 9” project, which was reported by Dr. Bandit Thongsong, the Acting Director of the Academic Service Affairs at Thaksin University. This initiative, named the “Project to Transfer Knowledge and Restore Fish Habitat No. 9” is the result of a collective effort involving nine network partners. They came together to restore fish habitat number 9, located in the Thaksin University Collaborates with Nine Networks to Restore Fish Habitat Number 9.
