44 Thaksin University PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE GOALS 17 Thaksin University actively participates in the promotion of sustainable development goals and policies by public and private organizations. In 2022, faculties organized projects under the SDG goal, and administrators participated in government and non-government networks as committee members to conduct relevant projects. In order to reach its goals, Thaksin University works together with the government, the private sector, academics, and the community. These are relevant activities in the year 2022 as follows; 1. On 11 August 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samak Kaewsuksaeng, Acting Vice President for Research and Innovation, attended a virtual program “Global Competence and the Future of Work Activity (GCFoW)”, as an invited speaker, to give a speech in the topic entitled “Glocalization: A New Dimension to Research and Innovation”. GCFoW’s hosted by the Office of International Affairs, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta, Indonesia in collaboration with Universiti Malaya, FPT University-Vietnam, Thaksin University- Thailand, Panpacific University-Philippine, Binus University, Indonesia and Atmajaya Jakarta University, Indonesia. There were 12 TSU students from the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Nursing participate in GCFoW on 10-18 August 2022 via online platform. 2. On 24 December 2022, Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences, Thaksin University in collaboration with Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Walailak University, and Surat Thani Rajabhat University organized International Seminar on Health Sports Science and Exercise (2022-ISHSSE). The topics under this international seminar were as follows; • Health and Well-being • Occupational Health and Safety • Alternative Medicine and Traditional Medicine (Such as Thai, India, Malaysia, Chinese traditional
