15 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) In the academic year 2023, Thaksin University (TSU) had a total of 13,916 full-time students across all degree levels and programs with a total of 6,887 students from low-income families received financial support. TSU provided financial aid such as tuition and miscellaneous fee subsidies, scholarships, and work study students subsidies to low-income students. NO POVERTY University anti-poverty programs Each year, Thaksin University (TSU) admits high school students to pursue undergraduate studies under the Chai Pattana Foundation Project established under the royal initiative of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej to support operations under royal development projects and other development initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life and self-sufficiency of the people in economic and social aspects. TSU has received a quota for admitting students from poor families in the areas of Satun, Phang Nga, and Yala provinces from 13 schools in the rural area.’ Thaksin University collaborates with the Chaipattana Foundation to sign a contract awarding the Chaipattana Foundation Royal Scholarship. Today (February 1, 2023), the Project for Capacity Development of Royal Initiative Schools and Underprivileged Schools in the Four Southern Provinces, led by the Faculty of Education at Thaksin University in collaboration with the Chaipattana Foundation, held a signing ceremony for the Chaipattana Foundation Scholarship for the academic year 2022.
