16 Thaksin University Thaksin University (TSU) provides several scholarships and grants given by TSU, government, private sectors, and public sectors for the students and public transportation to the students journey on the campus. The students can spend the fund for any activities in their lives, which means several funds the students obtain cover the expenses of food, accommodation, transportation, and legal services. The types of scholarships provided were divided into internal and external scholarships. Additionally, students can also apply for various scholarships offered by their faculties or colleges. Thaksin University (TSU) got a research fund from Program Management Unit on Area Based Development (PMU A) to conduct research on Research and Innovation for Personalize Poverty Alleviation in Phatthalung Province (https://www.facebook.com/PovertyProject.TSU ) aiming to find and verify data of poverty household in Phatthalung province applied to the assistance completely and accurately, develop a big poverty household database system to support the analysis of household debt, occupation and livelihood problems, analyze the poverty problem patterns of the target groups in order to construct the model of assistance completely accurately and sustainably, develop a poverty alleviation model by enhancing livelihood learning processes and reskilling and reskilling the occupation capability of the poverty people, and synthesize the overall outputs of the research project and create the poverty alleviation policy corresponded Phatthalung provincial strategy plan.
