19 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Thaksin University opens its space to the community, creating a sustainable source of safe food and increasing income for local farmers Thaksin University has allocated space for the community to use for agricultural purposes, encouraging nearby households to create a sustainable and safe food source. The initiative includes pilot projects for growing various crops such as corn, cassava, peanut, morning glory, chili, Chinese cabbage, and aromatic coconuts. This effort aims to comprehensively and precisely address poverty, enhance the community’s economic and social capital, and position the university as a bridge for collaboration between partner networks and local farmer groups.
