27 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) The university has a reservoir on campus that is used to produce tap water for internal use. Therefore, we follow hygiene procedures to ensure that students and staff across the university have access to safe, healthy, and sanitary drinking water. Water treatment is another process that contributes to sustainability in consumption. All processes involved must be passed on to our students through teaching in courses or academic activities. Additionally, students must learn to apply their knowledge and understanding to social development as well. Water consumption tracking CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION Thaksin University manages water from various sources. At the Phatthalung campus, approximately 357,624 cubic meters of water are used annually, which includes water from the university’s own water supply system (100% self-produced) to control water quality to meet standards and water sourced from the irrigation canals that the university manages with strict oversight.
