47 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ThaksinUniversitypromotesenvironmental sustainability by converting waste into RDF (Refuse-Derived Fuel) as an alternative energy source, addressing efficient resource utilization in line with circular economy principles. Ms.WeenaLeelaprasertsilp, VicePresident of Thaksin University, Songkhla Campus, stated that the Songkhla Campus Office has implemented waste segregation activities to foster environmental awareness and reduce waste in line with the Green University policy. The initiative promotes recycling plastic bottles for reuse, supporting the university’s strategic five-year plan (2023–2027) and driving the institution’s sustainability goals. Thaksin University organized an eco- friendly fashion contest and an eco-product design competition (using recycledmaterials) to promote innovation from waste materials and raise awareness about sustainability.
