58 Thaksin University PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE GOALS It is said that we cannot live alone in this world; we need to rely on one another to make progress in every dimension, whether it be academics, research, academic services, or the preservation of arts and culture. International collaboration enables us to generate fruitful activities that are absolutely beneficial to our students, staff, university, society, and the world. Thaksin University and the Embassy of Japan jointly organized a guidance event to expand educational opportunities in Japan for Thai students On January 31, 2023, the International Affairs Office of Thaksin University, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, organized a guidance program on studying in Japan. The event was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Natthaphong Chitnirat, President of Thaksin University; Associate Professor Dr. SamakKaewsuksaeng, Vice President for Research and Innovation; Dr. Khwanchit Suwannapornrat, Assistant to the President for International Relations; and the International Affairs staff, who welcomed representatives from the Embassy of Japan in Thailand along with Japanese universities and organizations.
