59 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Research Visibility Sessions On February 28, 2024, the International Affairs Office, in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), organized the “Meeting and Discussion between UniMAP and TSU” from March 2-3, 2024, at the Faculty of Engineering, Thaksin University, Phatthalung Campus. The purpose of this event was to discuss collaborative activities and hold a Sharing & Discussion Session, paving the way for joint international research publications between faculty members of Thaksin University and UniMAP in the following areas: Chemical & Environ- mental, Civil & Materials, and Mechanical & Electronic. Japan, Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), Old Japan Students’ Association, Thailand (OJSAT), Japan Foundation Bangkok, Kyoto University, Kanazawa University, Tokai University, and Osaka University. Event activities included university introductions, guidance on studying in Japan by JASSO, an overview of the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship by the Embassy of Japan (Research Students and Japanese Studies Program), and a special talk by Pharmacist Chanon Nusawat, a 2020 Japanese Government Scholarship recipient. The event took place at Room 18501, 50 th Anniversary Building, Thaksin University, Songkhla Campus.
